These companies were asked how they are evaluating and using mobile technology designed for business use as well as emerging technologies to respond to market and technological trends impacting field operations.

• For 58%, mobility investment is a top priority
• The number of field operations personnel doing less than 20% of their work with paper-based systems will rise by 46% by 2023
• The use of handheld computers with built-in barcode scanners is forecasted to grow by 45% by 2023. Mobile printer use will rise by 53%.
