Zebra Technologies TC53e/TC58e Handheld Computer Announced

Zebra has announced the latest update to its popular ‘TC’ line of handheld touch computers . The Zebra TC53e (Wi-Fi only) and TC58e (Wi-Fi and cellular) improves on the TC53/TC58 models.

The TC53e and TC58e are more than a modest update. Zebra has implemented an updated form factor and quite a few new features which will be appreciated by users.

The Zebra TC53e mobile computer and its partner TC58e are packed with new features (see spec sheet below). Some of the highlights include:

• Leaner mobile computer form factor for user comfort
• Improved industrial barcode scanner: Option for powerful, longer-range SE4770 scan engine – ideal for T&L applications
• Rugged design makes it more durable – 8 foot drop spec when used with rubber boot
• Face recognition for faster, more secure device log-in
• Model with short-range RFID scanning will be available!
